John Sproat - drums and percussion

A native of Easton, John Sproat has performed with various Lehigh Valley bands for over 35 years and gained a solid reputation as a bang-up master of percussion.  John has enjoyed a long association with Joyous, a local band that has become a longstanding regional favorite. He has also worked with the Alan Gaumer Quintet, Sax Fifth Avenue, The Sheryl Skye Band, and many others. He continues to work with Nightfall, an amazing collaboration with June Thomas. John recently joined fellow Associate, Pete Fluck to reunite PF and The Flyers.

John has appeared with renowned international percussionist Pablo Batista and Marleena Charles. John has backed several such national acts, including The Coasters and The Drifters.

John is from a very musical family and four generations of drummers, starting with his grandfather, who was a big band leader, and continuing to his son.

Highly regarded as an enthusiastic addition to the many creative projects that come his way, John Sproat is a versatile, gifted drummer whose playing serves as the solid backbone of the Cunningham & Associates sound.
