George Marion - keyboard and vocals

During the day, George Marion is a successful Philadelphia attorney fighting for his client’s rights in the courtroom, but when he takes to the stage and turns on his keyboard he becomes one of the areas most energetic and talented keyboardists and singers. A boyhood friend of Don Cunningham, George has collaborated with Don on musical ventures since high school and he is the only original member of The Cabinet working in Cunningham and Associates.

In addition, he collaborated with Black Smoke guitarist Mark Zahour on a keyboard and guitar duo that still makes an occasional appearance. A trained vocalist and pianist, George performed in stage musicals and was a member of the esteemed Freedom High School singing and touring group, Les Chanteurs. George hails from a musical family. His brother Joe is the keyboardist for the popular Philadelphia-based touring cover band Mr. Greengenes. His brother, Nick, a drummer, also a former Black Smoke member, has played with numerous national recording acts, including Bubba Mac Blues Band and Slang.

George is often the performance highlight of a Cunningham & Associates show, bringing his high-energy antics, roadhouse piano and outstanding vocal skill to the stage.
